Automatic Pressurisation Unit (APU)

AIRATHERM Automatic Refill Units (APU’s) have been designed to provide an air-break between the mains water supply and a closed loop system whilst maintaining system pressure.
This unit comprises a poly-ethylene header tank, complete with float valve and 240 volt single phase pump. The on/off pressure control is provided by an adjustable pressure switch which monitors the system pressure up to the set pressure of (4 or 6 Bar).
Each APU is pre-piped and wired with a 3 pin plug and lead, all housed in a heavy duty weather resistant cabinet. The cabinet design allows for 4 mounting screws and easy access to the internal components.
